Travel Pharmacist - $3,495 per week

Schedule

• Multiple shifts available; varying day or evening shifts.
• Shifts can be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on the day.
• Shift options include 7AM-3:30PM, 8AM-4:30PM, 1PM-9PM, 2PM-10PM, 7AM-5PM, 11AM-9PM, 12noon-10PM, 7AM-7PM, or 8AM-8PM.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details

The pharmacist will prepare and dispense drug orders, interpret prescriptions, maintain accurate patient medication records, and participate in clinical consultations and medication safety activities.

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy state licensure in Louisiana, BLS certification via American Heart Association, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification via American Heart Association is preferred.

Additional Information

Licensure and continuing education compliance are required. The role involves supervision of pharmacy support personnel and participation in interdisciplinary team activities.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
