Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Lake Charles, Louisiana.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: PharmacistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 9 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Provide pharmacy services in a hospital setting, supporting a variety of units including a 17-bed ICU, cardiac cath lab, busy emergency department, inpatient behavioral health unit, and orthopedic surgery. - Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; experience with critical care, cardiology, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and orthopedic surgery is a plus. - Responsible for medication dispensing, clinical pharmacy support, and collaboration with healthcare teams across multiple hospital departments. - Must hold active Louisiana (LA) pharmacy state licensure. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA) is required. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) via AHA is preferred. - Shift schedule varies; must be able to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with possible hours including 7AM-3:30PM, 8AM-4:30PM, 1PM-9PM, 2PM-10PM, 7AM-5PM, 11AM-9PM, 12PM-10PM, 7AM-7PM, or 8AM-8PM. - Position to start as soon as possible (ASAP). - Temporary to permanent placement is a possibility.Med Ninjas Job ID #18655.
