About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 26‑week assignment at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. The role starts 09/28/2026, requires 40 hours per week with varying day and evening shifts (weekends required, no overnight shifts). The pharmacy is a 285‑bed facility using Pyxis ES and Dose Edge equipment, Meditech documentation, and operates under a de‑centralized pharmacist model with technician support on day, mid, evening, and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Refilling Pyxis machines
- Filling first doses
- IV sterile compounding
- Non‑sterile compounding
- Packaging UD medications
- Answering phones
- Assisting pharmacist
- Refilling code blue trays
Requirements
- Current/active Missouri (MO) technician license in good standing
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Pyxis ES, Meditech, and Dose Edge (optional/advanced)
