About the role
Travel Pharmacist position in Independence, Missouri. Specialty: Pharmacist; Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Assignment length: 26 weeks, 40 hours per week. Unit staffing follows a de‑centralized pharmacist model with 5 technicians on day shift, 1 on mid shift, 2 on evening shift, and 2 on overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Refilling Pyxis machines
- Filling first doses
- IV sterile compounding
- Non‑sterile compounding
- Packaging UD medications
- Answering phones
- Assisting pharmacist
- Refilling code blue trays
Requirements
- Current/active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing
- Optional advanced skills: knowledge of Pyxis ES, Meditech, Dose Edge
