Travel Pharmacist - $2,221 per week

About the role

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee, offering access to cultural landmarks such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium, the Parthenon replica in Centennial Park, and extensive outdoor recreation at Percy Warner Park, Edwin Warner Park, and Radnor Lake State Park.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, allergies, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Provide clinical recommendations regarding medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and adjustments.
• Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile medication compounding as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with controlled-substance regulations, medication storage requirements, and hospital pharmacy policies.

Requirements

• Must have TN State License to apply.
• 2 years of hospital inpatient experience required.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Antimicrobial stewardship and medication reconciliation experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Rotating day and evening schedule.
• Every other weekend required.
• 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts.
• Start date: October 4, 2026.
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
