Travel Perfusionist position in Nashville, Tennessee. Start date: 11/02/2026; duration: 26 weeks; employment type: travel. Cardiac Perfusionist role providing specialized perfusion services for cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplant cases, including operating point‑of‑care devices and managing complex procedures such as lung transplants on ECMO, TAVRs, and HIPEC cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion services for cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplant cases.
• Operate point‑of‑care (POC) devices.
• Manage complex procedures including lung transplants on ECMO, TAVRs, and HIPEC cases.
• Respond to emergent ECMO cases and manage circuit manipulations.
• Participate in standby for vascular cases.
• Provide call coverage according to a six‑tier system for nights and weekends.
• Maintain flexibility for day and night shift call coverage, including weekends.

Requirements

• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License.
• American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) Certification.
• High school diploma or college degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of perfusion experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.

Qualifications

• Prior travel experience (preferred).
• Ability to operate point‑of‑care devices (preferred).

Skills

• ECMO case management and circuit manipulation.
• Perfusion for lung transplants, TAVR, HIPEC procedures.
• Operation of point‑of‑care devices.
• Ability to work in a Level 1 Trauma environment.

Pay

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days, 8‑hour shifts starting at 6:30 a.m.; minimum of 40 hours per week; call responsibilities follow a six‑tier system for nights and weekends.
