About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Pediatrics for a 13‑week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina, starting 11/02/2026. The role is a travel RN position averaging 36 hours per week.
Schedule
- 12‑hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide age‑appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years with physical, mental, acute, or chronic conditions.
- Document patients’ symptoms and medical history.
- Deliver bedside nursing care, including drawing blood, administering medication, and giving childhood vaccinations.
- Assist pediatricians during patient examinations.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current PALS certification.
- Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute care pediatric setting.
- Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
