About the role

Travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room position in Morgantown, West Virginia. 13‑week assignment, travel employment type, immediate opening. Candidates should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide age‑appropriate care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Help patients feel comfortable with examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical, and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric populations.
• Assist the treating physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide information, education, and support to patients’ family members.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years)

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; moving/lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, nights; 40 hours per week; assignment length 13 weeks.
