Travel Peds/Neo Respiratory Therapist - $2,303 per week

About the role

Immediate opening for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) to provide direct patient care across a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines. Candidate must have 1 year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (2 years preferred per requirements list).
• NBRC‑RRT credential.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (PALS and NRP may be required in some areas).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start.

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
