Responsibilities

• Provide specialized postoperative care for pediatric patients requiring overnight observation or extended recovery.
• Monitor pediatric patients in the Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit and Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.

Requirements

• Virginia RN license (can submit with VA license pending)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Ability to approve 40 hours for time off

Pay

Pay range: $1,850.21 – $1,942.72 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00 – 07:30 (Nights, every other weekend, every other holiday). 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
