Travel Pediatrics RN - $1,454 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric Med Surg for a 13‑week assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts and is classified as a travel nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and acute care to children and adolescents in all settings.
• Care for patients of all ages and support family members.
• Provide age‑appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients be comfortable with examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent populations.
• Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients’ family members.

Requirements

• Current BLS, PALS, and CHEMO certifications.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 lbs.
• Tolerance for exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
