Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric ultrasound examinations under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and troubleshoot minor issues.
Requirements
- Current state-issued license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in pediatric ultrasound preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
Skills
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
