Travel Pediatric Stepdown RN - $1,849 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

About the role

Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients with complex conditions in a stepdown unit. This role supports healthcare professionals with opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients with complex conditions such as TBI, spinal cord injury, GSW, MVA, burns, feeding disorders, failure to thrive, spina bifida, CP, post-ortho surgical patients, and respiratory or cardiac issues.
• Manage trach and ventilator support as required for patients on the unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient care planning and implementation.
• Float within the specialty and other departments as needed, including occasional float to the Largo campus.
• Adhere to hospital protocols during scheduled on-call and floating periods when applicable.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in pediatric stepdown or intermediate care.

Pay

$1,957.12 – $2,054.98 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 13-week contract starting 09/14/2026.
• 12-hour shifts: 19:00 – 07:30 (Night, Rotating).
• 36 hours per week.
