Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - $2,078 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. The position starts 11/16/2026, runs 36 hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts, and is a travel employment type. The right candidate must have at least one year of recent acute care experience and will provide direct patient care across a variety of clinical areas, performing evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (3 years preferred per requirements list).
• Active NBRC‑RRT credential.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (PALS and NRP may be required in some areas).
• Physical demands: ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty; lift 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay & schedule
