Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist Pediatric (RT PEDS) role at Cross Country Allied involves providing quality respiratory care to pediatric patients within the healthcare provider's facility. Key responsibilities include evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, operating ventilatory equipment, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with various procedures related to respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities
- Operating ventilatory equipment (both invasive and non-invasive)
- Administering medications
- Performing chest physiotherapy
- Suctioning
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory testing protocols
- Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines
- Maintaining equipment
- Communicating effectively with attending physicians
- Documenting all treatments and patient responses
- Performing additional duties as assigned

- Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
