Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) Pediatrics
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to work in an acute hospital setting. The position involves providing inpatient and outpatient therapy to pediatric patients, supporting developmental and recovery goals within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Location

The position is based at a healthcare facility specializing in pediatric care.

Certifications and Education

• BLS certification required
• Alaska Physical Therapist License
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with inpatient pediatric care, acute care, and outpatient therapy is required
• Proficiency in pediatric assessment, gait training, use of adaptive equipment, and patient family education

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric physical therapy including evaluation, plan of care development, gait training, and patient rehabilitation in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Must be willing to work approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month and prior RTO must be included in submittal

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric experience
• Inpatient experience
• Familiarity with electronic charting system

Additional Information

• Candidates must have inpatient and pediatric therapy experience
• Candidates are expected to float within scope as needed to meet facility needs

Submission Requirements

• Responses needed regarding prior work at a healthcare facility
• References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years
• Confirmation of valid state license in hand for auto offer

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
