Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) Specialist in a Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility. This position involves providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role includes coordinating patient care, performing circulating nurse responsibilities, and supporting sterile procedures as a scrub nurse, all within a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver operating room nursing care for pediatric surgical patients
- Monitor patient status
- Document clinical care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Ensure sterile technique during procedures
Requirements
- Licensing as a Registered Nurse (Nursys License)
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Professional profiles
- Two professional references

Unit Details
Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms utilizing Cerner charting system.
Schedule
- Days shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
