Travel Pediatric ICU RN - $2,734 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified travel nursing agency, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The PICU is a high‑tech children’s services area that cares for critically ill, medically complex, and/or post‑surgical patients. Assignment details: start date October 12, 2026; duration 13 weeks; 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts; employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare officials to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.
• Provide care for children and adolescents (up to age 18) with life‑threatening or high‑acuity conditions requiring constant monitoring.
• Prioritize careful monitoring of patients and report regularly to the pediatrician and family on the patient’s condition and expected recovery.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN license
