Travel Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse - $2,251 per week

About the role

The successful candidate will provide competent care based on established standards. They will assume an expanded role, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provision of competent care based on established standards
• Expanded role responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member
• Experience in stepdown, pediatric intensive care, Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures
• BLS, high acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience, telemetry experience, ACLS

Requirements

• MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE
• MUST HAVE PCU EXPERIENCE
• Telemetry Experience Required
• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) Years Experience

Qualifications

Must have experience in Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures.

Skills

Strong clinical skills, ability to manage high acuity patients, experience in pediatric intensive care, stepdown experience, and specialized procedures.
