About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a pediatric cardiology setting in Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Performs complex congenital heart and fetal echocardiograms independently
- Assists with special and invasive cardiac procedures
- Analyzes imaging data and presents findings to cardiologists and physicians
- Collaborates with cardiologists regarding fetal echocardiogram findings and educates patients and families about procedures
- Maintains echocardiography equipment and supports quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 7–10 years of cardiac clinical ultrasound experience
- Experience independently performing pediatric and congenital echocardiograms
- RDCS or RCS credential, or registry eligibility through ARDMS or CCIC
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Associate Degree in Allied Health or related field, completion of a 2–4 year Diagnostic Ultrasound program, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Licenses required if applicable

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
Schedule
5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional Information
On-call coverage required Monday through Sunday on a rotating 3-week schedule
