About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pediatric CVICU unit in a Level I trauma setting. 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Apply professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Apply nursing techniques to deliver patient care.
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Use basic computer systems as required.

Requirements

• One year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting.
• Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (American Heart Association).
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a board-approved program.
