Travel Pediatric CVICU RN - $2,674 per week

About the role

A travel nurse RN CVICU position is available in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role focuses on providing comprehensive and specialized care for children requiring advanced monitoring, interventions, and treatments for cardiac and vascular conditions, including post-cardiac surgery, congenital heart defects, arrhythmias, and other complex cardiac issues. The CVICU utilizes advanced medical technologies such as specialized ventilators, cardiac monitors, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and other life-sustaining devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized care to pediatric patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and ECMO.
• Provide interventions and treatments for patients who have undergone cardiac surgery or have congenital heart defects.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Experience in CVICU or PICU nursing.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour day shifts.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional compensation includes:

• $600 travel bonus.
• Extra hour bonus for working over contracted weekly hours.
• Guaranteed stipend if the facility calls you off.
