About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026 in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
  • Operate and monitor equipment used during procedures.
  • Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with medical imaging equipment.

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
