About the role

Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pediatric cath lab procedures including transplants, biopsies, balloon, stent, valve placement, and possibly interventional radiology (IR).
  • Work in a Level I Trauma center with teaching and magnet hospital status.
  • Prefer experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and EP experience.
  • Handle cases such as pediatric/adult transplant, R/L biopsy, balloon, stent, valve placement, and IR (pediatric preference).
  • Work in two cath lab rooms.
  • Must have PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)).
  • Preferred certifications include CCI with RCIS/RCES or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R).
  • Must have a radiation badge provided by the agency.
  • May accommodate a block schedule per manager's discretion.
  • Local candidates are accepted at a discounted rate.
  • Must be available for on-call shifts, approximately 8-10 per month, including weekend coverage.
  • Must be willing to work in a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital setting.
  • Must be able to work in a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital setting.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass.
  • Must be part of the facility's emergency response team.

  • Must be part of the facility's emergency response team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or extended assignment. Please note -- Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
