Travel Stepdown RN, providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications
• Assist with cardiac procedures
• Respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient conditions
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain safety and infection control standards
• Work effectively with healthcare teams

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and perform procedures
• Visual and motor skills required for effective patient care
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications
