Travel PCU / Stepdown RN - $2,210 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux City, Iowa, starting August 31, 2026.
About the Role
This position is in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a requirement to float to the Emergency Department (ED). The assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a PCU/Stepdown unit
- Float to the Emergency Department as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous step-down experience
- First-time travelers welcome
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (exception for Madison with a 10% rate reduction if local)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Work history/resume
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- License verification
- Copy of required certifications
- At least 1 supervisory reference at the time of submission

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
