Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a MS/Tele RN to take an assignment in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026.

About the role

This is a travel nursing position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
  • Use of rapid response teams
  • Care for patients post Cardiac Angiogram, post MI, pre/post Cardiac Cath
  • Feeding tube care and management
  • Pre/post Hemodialysis Management and Renal failure care
  • Blood product administration, central and peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs
  • Managing Heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), PCA
  • Care for CVA patients
  • Management of surgical drains
  • Chest tube management, CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, non-invasive airway management, tracheostomy management
  • Isolation precautions and wound care/vac

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Community hospital experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Must have both Kansas and Missouri licenses or a compact license at time of submission
  • No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius
  • Pending license not accepted
  • Experience with EPIC charting system required

Certifications

  • Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Preferred: CPI

    • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy (Blood product administration, central and peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs)
    • Medication management (Heparin protocols, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, PCA)
    • Neurological/Psychiatric care (CVA)
    • Plastics care (Surgical drains)
    • Respiratory care (Chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, interpretation of ABGs, non-invasive airway management, tracheostomy management)
    • Professional skills (Isolation precautions, wound care/vac)
  • Preferred:
    • Cardiovascular: Sheath removal
    • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing ports, phlebotomy
    • Orthopedics: Total Joint Replacements
    • Previous charge experience

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and may be subject to change during an assignment.
