About the role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Rochester, New York. This travel/contract position offers a 4x12 night shift schedule with guaranteed 48 hours per week. You'll work every other weekend and provide specialized care to adult, acute care patients requiring continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Manage airway support, titrated medicated IV infusions, and central line care
- Utilize advanced skills such as cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and non-invasive airway management
- Deliver exceptional care in a multidisciplinary environment
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a PCU or similar unit
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC charting proficiency
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 4 shifts per week (48 hours guaranteed)
- Every other weekend required
