Travel PCU RN - $2,704 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN for a travel nursing assignment in Avon, Indiana. This 8-week assignment starts on August 26, 2026, and offers 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac)
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Care for patients with Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin protocol administration
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE usage
• IV insulin protocol administration
• Management of cardiac drips (no titration)
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oxygen administration and tank management
• Pacemaker (temporary/permanent) management
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient care
• Peripheral line care and management
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Post-cardiac angiogram care
• Post-MI care
• Pre/post cardiac catheterization care
• Renal failure patient management
• Seizure disorder management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Substance withdrawal management
• Telemetry monitoring (on-unit)
• Titration of insulin drips
• TR Band management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Wound care and wound vac management
• Floating as required (100% required for all travelers)
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements

• 1.5 years of experience in PCU/Stepdown or relevant specialty
• Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Active NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• License must be in hand prior to start date (temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications are submitted)
• 2 supervisor references required
• Graduation from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE

• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Community hospital experience

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and may be subject to change during an assignment.
