Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Ability to assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Professional communication skills for managing conflict
• Capability to contribute to a healthy workplace environment
• Experience with a wide variety of cardiac and respiratory patients
• Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Participation in continuing education
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
