About the role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Float between different units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and versatility.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in continuous professional development and maintain required certifications.
Shift Information
This is a night shift position with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Patient Ratios
Estimated patient ratios are 1:4, allowing for focused and individualized patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
