About the role
The Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to medically delicate and surgically complex patients. Our unit specializes in treating patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical and surgical populations.
- Administer advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including the use of pressor titration protocols.
- Manage antihypertensive, sedative, and narcan drips, along with thrombo-embolic treatments.
- Utilize advanced respiratory support techniques, including HFNC, BiPap/Cpap.
- Implement infection prevention protocols and care plans for complex patients.
- Ensure safety and quality of patient care while managing a typical patient load of 3 high acuity patients.
Requirements
- Epic experience is required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in a large scale adult Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or community hospital ICU is preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
