Travel PCU RN - $2,170 per week
About the role
The role involves working as a travel nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at ARMStaffing. The assignment starts on August 17, 2026 and lasts for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour workweek, specifically 12-hour shifts during the night.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned clinical education content to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support education for core staff, travelers, contract labor, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching.
- Validate understanding and/or competency when required.
- Document education completion accurately and timely.
- Identify barriers to completion and escalate concerns to Clinical Education leadership.
- Support night shift, weekend, and hard-to-reach colleague education.
- Aid in focused re-education when audit findings or practice observations show additional support is needed.
- Partner with Mission educators and leaders.
Requirements
- Previous mission experience preferred.
- Acute care experience, critical care, or procedural background is essential.
- Experience in nursing education, clinical teaching, and competency validation.
- Familiarity with high-risk education, regulatory readiness, and quality/safety initiatives.
- Ability to work independently while following established education plans and content.
- Comfort using education tracking tools, dashboards, LMS platforms, or competency checklists; training will be provided.
Qualifications
Previous mission experience preferred. Acute care experience, critical care, or procedural background is essential. Experience in nursing education, clinical teaching, and competency validation. Familiarity with high-risk education, regulatory readiness, and quality/safety initiatives. Ability to work independently while following established education plans and content. Comfort using education tracking tools, dashboards, LMS platforms, or competency checklists; training will be provided.
Skills
Effective communication, coaching, and teaching skills are essential. Adeptness in these areas is crucial for ensuring staff competency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
