About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Lima, Ohio. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on October 20, 2026.

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly hours: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 20, 2026 (ASAP)

Requirements

Required Experience

• Post-operative open heart care experience
• Chest tube and other drain management experience
• Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
• Experience with procedures such as chest tube removal, removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, use of non-invasive ventilation devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems
• Must float to all units within skill level

Required Certifications

• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active American Heart Association ACLS

Required Licensure

• Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical Care Experience

Skills

• Submission of work history and skills checklist pertinent to the specialty (PCU), current to 1 year
