About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lenexa, Kansas. This position is at HCA - Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas, a 343-bed Level II trauma center offering acute care services and advanced progressive care unit (PCU) nursing, utilizing Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Overland Park is just a 25-minute drive from Kansas City, where you can visit the renowned Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and enjoy the scenic Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients and monitor complex conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Current Kansas or Compact RN license
• At least one year of recent PCU nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last 1 year

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Pay

• Pay Rate: $2043.00 - $2147.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
