Travel PCU RN - $2,085 per week

Job Description

Registered Nurse – Adult Med Surg in Toledo, OH. This is a 13-week contract position. The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult patients in a mixed unit setting that includes a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Med Surg Telemetry, and Med Surg. This role demands a competent clinician who can perform nursing duties effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
• Administering medications and IV therapies.
• Providing wound care and managing surgical drains.
• Performing patient assessments and developing care plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and social services.
• Managing dietary and feeding tube care.
• Executing and titrating insulin drips and cardiac drips as required.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, working every alternate weekend (Friday and Saturday evenings). 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
