Travel PCU RN - $1,996 per week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
• Every other weekend requirement for contract.
• 3 12-hour shifts per week.
• Floating policy may apply between PCU units or to med-surg floors.
• Hourly rounding on days, every 2 hours on nights.
• AIDET and maintaining communication boards on 7th floor.
• Staffing includes 3 techs when full on 630 and 2 techs when full on 633.
• Equipment includes bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vacs.
• Documentation system is Meditech.
• Type of equipment includes wound vacs in conjunction with wound care.
• Scheduling requires every other weekend for contract and 3 12-hour shifts per week.
• May need to float between PCU units or med-surg floors.
• Must adhere to patient experience requirements including hourly rounding on days, every 2 hours on nights, AIDET, and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in progressive care unit preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Willingness to float between units if required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year of progressive care unit experience preferred.
