Travel PCU RN - $1,951 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Columbia, Missouri. The assignment begins October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience
