About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Intermediate Intensive Care Unit team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The unit provides care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, particularly in cardiac, renal, and trauma disciplines.

Schedule

• 20-week contract position
• Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients via telemetry for dysrhythmias and vital signs
• Administer medications, including vasoactive and titrated IV medications
• Provide non-invasive airway management and manage peripheral line care
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interventions for a variety of conditions
• Participate in cardiac procedures, including cardioversion and post-cardiac cath care
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide education to patients and families

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Recent experience with blood product administration and dysrhythmia management is essential
• 1st time travelers are not accepted; travelers must have a proven background in similar roles
