Travel PCU RN - $1,781 per week

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing attentive care to patients and their families, participating in bedside shift reports, and fostering personal connections as part of the patient care plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Prioritize care and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform essential medical procedures including starting IVs and basic wound care.
• Maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Utilize medical technology such as IV pumps, telemetry, and continuous pulse ox machines effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS Certification.
• Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a requirement of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including two weekends per four-week schedule.
