Travel PCU RN - $1,779 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Hermitage, Tennessee. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (07:00 AM–07:00 PM) with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly rounding on days and every 2 hours at night.
• Maintain effective communication through patient care communication boards.
• Utilize available techs for patient care support and assistance.
• Execute advanced nursing procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, and central line dressing changes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with tube feedings, NG/dobhoff tubes.
• Experience caring for stroke and post‑cardiac cath patients.
• Ability to work within a teamwork‑oriented culture.
• Strong critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with cardiac, heparin, and insulin drips.
• Ability to troubleshoot wound vacs.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with peritoneal dialysis.
• Peripheral IV skills.
