Travel PCU RN - $1,769 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 13-week contract position with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekend shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown units
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as per protocols
• Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in daily huddles
• Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures and chest tube placements
• Engage in effective communication and establish personal connections with patients and families

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; BLS for Acute Care and ACLS for Neuro Stepdown
• Previous experience in Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown is highly preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage critical care situations effectively
