About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient vitals and report significant changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform blood glucose checks as ordered.
- Document patient assessments and care activities accurately and timely using Meditech.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
- Floater to areas of competency as necessary.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ACLS certification required.
- Advanced IV skills and familiarity with cardiac and insulin drips.
