Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit | Discipline: RN | Duration: 13 weeks | 36 hours per week | Shift: 12 hours, days | Employment Type: Travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with varied medical issues, both acute and chronic
  • Perform typical procedures on unit(s), including those for a large cardiac population (e.g., Tele floors and PCU)
  • Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to unit needs
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, compassionate environment

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in the PCU or Progressive Care Unit
  • Active state nursing license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Strong Tele experience (minimum 2 years)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chemo Certification (allows scheduling on Oncology unit)
