Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit | Discipline: RN | Duration: 13 weeks | 36 hours per week | Shift: 12 hours, days | Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with varied medical issues, both acute and chronic
- Perform typical procedures on unit(s), including those for a large cardiac population (e.g., Tele floors and PCU)
- Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to unit needs
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, compassionate environment
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in the PCU or Progressive Care Unit
- Active state nursing license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Strong Tele experience (minimum 2 years)
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemo Certification (allows scheduling on Oncology unit)
