About the role

• Work in a Acute Care Hospital with 442 beds.
• Provide care in the PCU (Post-Cardiac Care Unit).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Document patient care in the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• At least 1 year of recent hospital-based experience.
• Experience working in the PCU preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.

Skills

• Proficiency with the Cerner charting system.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
