• Use of charting systems: PYXIs, EPIC, SBAR
• Patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting

Requirements

Experience

1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Cardiac Telemetry
• Central line care/management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
• Nasal Cannula
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Sheath Removal
• Post MI (Myocardial Infarction) care
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath (Catheterization)
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Telemetry - remote monitoring
• TR Band
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Licensure

Active NC License or Compact License.
