Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a PCU Registered Nurse position in Augusta, GA. We’ll work with you to build the healthcare career of your dreams, offering opportunities close to home or across the country.

Pay

$1,937 to $2,147 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

  • Assignment Length: 16 weeks
  • Shift: Nights, 3x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1 on nights and weekends

Requirements

Experience

1 year of experience required.

  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • GA License or Compact License
  • BiPAP/CPAP management
  • Blood Product Administration
  • Central line care/management
  • Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
  • CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
  • Feeding tube care and management
  • Heparin Protocols
  • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
  • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Isolation Precautions/PPE
  • Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • Nasal Cannula
  • Non-invasive airway management
  • Oxygen administration
  • PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
  • Peripheral Line Care/Management
  • Phlebotomy
  • PICC line management
  • Pre/Post neurosurgery
  • Starting and maintaining IVs
  • Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
  • Titrate Cardiac drips
  • Titration of Insulin drips
  • Tracheostomy care/management
  • Traumatic Brain injury
  • Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
