The Aya Healthcare team is excited to offer an immediate opening for a PCU Registered Nurse in Baltimore, MD. This role offers a competitive salary range of $1896 to $2124 weekly for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are available from 07:00 - 19:30, Monday through Friday.
About the Role
As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive care to patients in a step-down unit. Your responsibilities will include managing various patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assess patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Perform routine patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, and grooming
- Manage and document patient care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Current RN license in good standing
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSSL certification
