The Aya Healthcare team is excited to offer an immediate opening for a PCU Registered Nurse in Baltimore, MD. This role offers a competitive salary range of $1896 to $2124 weekly for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are available from 07:00 - 19:30, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive care to patients in a step-down unit. Your responsibilities will include managing various patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs
  • Assess patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
  • Perform routine patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, and grooming
  • Manage and document patient care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • NIHSSL certification
