About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Perform various nursing duties including medication administration, patient monitoring, and assisting with daily activities.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care units preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
