About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers.
- Perform various nursing duties such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care units preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of an approved clinical rotation in a progressive care unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay
